General
Beacon RP has a zero tolerance policy towards derogatory terms, racism and hate speech.
Please be respectful of other members of the community at all times.
At all times you should recognise consent within RP. This means that fellow players feel in control, feel safe and are enjoying the experience.
Our team are here for everybody's safety, and to ensure the best possible experience, however we ask that you respect that sometimes we do have to make difficult decisions.
Please do not DM any staff members. Instead, please use the ticket system provided within Discord for anything city related.
Voice and Microphones
You must have a good quality microphone, ideally without excessive background noise, or anything else restricting clarity.
Realistic Voice Mods are permitted, but you must ensure that you can be understood. A member of the staff team will always be happy to test your voice mods with you in a quiet place.
Beacon RP is an English speaking server.
Any content used in the city (such as music) must be DMCA-free, and safe for streamers.
Muted or Voiceless RP is allowed. However, please open the relevant ticket if you plan to RP this way.
Modifications
Any third party mods, software, exploits or hacks are not permitted, with the exception of some graphical mods, listed below. Anybody found to be using modifications that exploit or provide an unfair advantage will be removed from Beacon RP immediately.

The server will be running on Pure Mode 1. You may have to make adjustments and staff will not answer any tickets if you are running these mods and are having graphical issues.
Characters
You must stay in character at all times. Any player reports must be raised via a Discord ticket, and never raised during Roleplay.
You may have multiple characters, but you should explore different RP avenues for each, and they can not be involved in the same gangs or businesses.
RP Bleeding is strictly prohibited - this means that you CANNOT pass information between any of your characters and have the same knowledge base as another character you portray.
Restricted Roleplay
There are a number of RP storylines and characters which are not permitted.
Restricted Roleplay includes:
- Suicide
- Religious Extremism
- Pregnancy
- Storylines and Scenarios involving sexual assault or rape is not allowed—do not portray, reference, or suggest these topics.
Political, celebrity, or trademark character names are not permitted. If you are unsure, please raise a General Support Ticket via Discord.
The Basics

Information you've gained out of character cannot be used in RP. This includes information from Discord, Twitch, or any other methods. If your character doesn't know it, then don't use it.

Power Gaming
Power gaming and abusing game mechanics to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited. For example; quitting the game mid-roleplay, or using bugged doors which do not open.

Treat your character's life as you would your own. Don't put your life at risk unless absolutely necessary. If your character is put into a fearful situation (such as being taken hostage) then this should reflect in your RP. Being a hero can sometimes put others' lives in danger, you must value the lives of other players. Similarly, if you're not involved in a criminal RP (e.g a police chase), don't involve yourself.

You are strictly not allowed retain memory or to move assets, money or items between your characters.

Corruption
Corruption is not alllowed within state appointed government roles (PD, EMS, DOJ and any future departments) unless it has been green lit by Server Staff. A Corruption story arc should be a long drawn out storyline and have a meaningful reason to carry on that story.

Heist Chaining
Excessive heist chaining is not allowed. No jobs/heists may be started within 20 minutes before or after a tsunami.

Retaining Memory across Servers
Knowing Characters and Remembering People from previous servers is the furthest that conflict can go. Any conflict must be initiated within Beacon. Conflict can't carry over.

Compensation
If you've lost items, money or anything else, you must provide evidence of it's previous existence for any compensation to be awarded. If putting important items in your pocket, trunk or storage, make sure you either take screenshots of the inventory, or have some form of screen recording (e.g Medal) to prove you had that item.

Hostages
Anyone taken hostage must not be a willing participant.
On-Duty EMS cannot be taken hostage. People on duty at business can be taken, however read the room before taking.
There is no fixed time limit that you can hold a hostage for, however, please do respect the time of other players.
As a hostage taker, it is your responsibility to ensure your hostages are kept alive and healthy.
Robbing and Stealing
Robbing and Stealing Items from another player should only be completed when it allows you to continue your RP progression.
Pocket Wiping/Loot Boxing (the act of stealing all of a player's items and money) should be avoided, this isn't GTA Online. Don't be a dick about it, think about your players progression when robbing another.
Robbery of EMS and PD equipment and vehicles are permitted on a sensible level if it enhances your roleplay, though your character will feel the full force of the law once caught.
You cannot force another player to withdraw any money from their personal or business accounts.
Green Zones
The grounds of any hospital are Green Zones and are designated as no-conflict zones.
You must not create new conflict or commit any crime on these premises, however, should Roleplay take you to these areas, then you may continue your storyline.
Medical
Knockout - Beacon RP has a built in Knockout system - when you are knocked out, you naturally cannot speak, and should not remember your surroundings for this period of time.
Ocean Dumping Dumping a body in the ocean or a body of water, or any other place where the medic wouldn't be able to rescue the person, is only to be used in Gang Wars or if there is an on going situation between two characters. Dumping someone you have just met and had a slight disagreement with is not allowed under any circumstance. An ocean dump should be a way to bring a big end to a storyline. It has to be the final moment and the rivalry should cease there.
Downed - When incapacitated, you should ensure to Roleplay your injuries. Make it realistic! When you've bled out, you cannot speak, and cannot hear or see your surroundings for this period of time.
Memory Loss - If you go down and are flatbacked and treated by the local doctor you do not remember the last half an hour. If you are treated by an EMS worker then you can remember. You may be reminded about recent events by people who haven’t been flatbacked.
If you have been involved in any kinda of conflict/RP scenario and then have been downed. You must not return to the same location until the scenario/conflict has ended.
Permanent Death - Permanent deaths are permitted in Beacon RP, however, should always be a last resort, and should ALWAYS be completed respectfully, of high quality, and must not touch upon any Restricted Roleplay categories. Your character can only be removed by Staff and therefore this may not be possible to do instantaneously. Once complete, your character is automatically removed from the game Database and you cannot recreate this character.
Business Rules
A start-up lease fee of $2,500 is required to open a business. There will be other fees that will be discussed and negotiated within City with the Business Acquisition Bureau (BAB) at City Hall.
Businesses operate with a business account.
You will also have the ability to have a Loan Approved to help support the business & business only if needed.
Each character may own one business only. This ensures quality over quantity.
Owners are free to hire and fire employees as they wish - no admin approval needed.
If an employee’s OOC behaviour concerns you (rule-breaking, harassment, etc.), open a ticket in the Beacon RP Discord.
You may only have a maximum of 12 employees - this includes Owners.
Businesses must remain active. If a business goes unused for 21 days without valid excuse, Business Brokers may seize it.
You should employ enough employees to ensure your business stays open should you take any time away from the server.
Please make BAB aware of any prolonged absences should it affect your business being able to be open.
Treat a business as a business and not a criminal hideout. Wearing masks when working should be discouraged at all times.
Misuse of a business or its bank account includes (but is not limited to):
Using the property to harbour criminals in locked areas and denying lawful PD access.
Embezzling or hiding criminal funds in the business account (e.g., depositing robbery money).
Funding criminal activity directly from the business account (weapons, drugs, etc.).
Exploiting the system for OOC advantage (fake openings, ghost payrolls, or money cycling).
Any misuse may result in: Business seizure, temporary or permanent ban, or both in extreme cases.
Gang Rules
Max Roster Size: 10 members total per gang.
Active Criminal Group Size: Max of 4 members per job or activity, unless stated otherwise under Interaction Numbers.
Gang HQ Defense: If another gang comes to your hideout looking for conflict, all members on-site (up to 8) may defend.
HQ Attacks: A maximum of 6 attackers allowed during assaults.
Player Hunting: You may only hunt in groups of up to 6.
⚔️ Gang Fight Rules
If two gangs are in active RP beef and one gang wants to escalate, they must initiate verbally during the current storm period.
After verbal initiation, your gang must wait for the other side to respond before continuing the fight.
If the opposing gang doesn't retaliate during that storm period, you cannot attack them again until the next storm.
Exception: If the other gang starts trash-talking (on Birdy or in-person), you may re-engage.
After the first initiation, fights can continue with visual re-initiation (line of sight + shouting distance).
Gangs must wear their colors/identifiers during conflicts for visual confirmation.
At the start of a new storm period, verbal initiation is required again to resume hostilities.
If a gang war/conflict drags on for more than a week, the gangs must either agree to war terms or call a ceasefire.

Police/Doctors: You cannot declare war on PD or EMS.
Griefing: Constant harassment of another gang/org without eventually setting war terms is not allowed.
War Terms: Both sides must agree on clear terms before war begins (how it ends, what's at stake).
Staff Oversight: Submit agreed terms to staff via ticket before conflict begins.
Downed Members: Once downed, you're out of the war until the next fight.
Property Battles: If a compound/property is taken within the agreed timeframe, that fight ends.
Outside Help: No outsiders may participate (PD/EMS included unless requested IC).
Locked Rosters: Once a war roster is submitted, only those players can participate—no substitutes.
🎨 Gang Sprays
Placement: Sprays must be placed on accessible/visible flat surfaces (not hidden on rooftops).
In-Character Knowledge: The spray map may be treated as IC intel (locals gossiping, etc.).
Spray Wipes: Wiping is direct initiation—no need for further RP initiation, both gangs are clear to fight. Do not wipe and run; you must stay and face any resulting conflict.
Colors: Both gangs must rep colors/kuttes/org identifiers during spray beef.
Police: PD should not interfere with sprays. If they do, expect IC consequences.
Defending Turf: Limited to 6 members unless the turf is at your home base.
Turf Defense Cooldown: If a gang successfully defends, the rival gang must wait 2 hours before trying again.
Store Robberies in Turf: Do not interfere. Let the robbery/chase play out fully before acting on the info later.
⚠️ These rules are in place to keep gang RP balanced, fair, and immersive.
